Korie Nazara

Korie grew up here on the big island, in Kealakekua. She has a passion for working with others to create unforgettable experiences for our clients. She loves to provide genuine, caring customer service filled with Aloha, as it reflects who she is, and the beauty of the Hawaiian culture and its people.

Her favorite thing about working at Papa Kona is the tight knit ‘ohana that we have, where everyone is committed to making each event successful. She also enjoys making connections with people from across the world and being able to share Hawaii and its traditions with others.

Something someone might now know about Korie is that she started competitive outrigger canoe paddling at the age of ten, and at 21, competed in the world renowned “Na Wahine O Ke Kai,” a 41-mile-long distance canoe race in 2008 with a nine woman crew.
